[9] Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. [10] Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. [11] Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. [12] Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. [13] Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.
[14] Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. [15] Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. [16] Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited.
[17] Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. [18] If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Ghana Clothing Drive
The Crusaders Sunday School Class invites you to participate in a clothing drive supporting Michael Offei's ministry in Ghana, West Africa. We're collecting lightly used clothing for children, women, and men in need. Please bring your donations to church — items will be boxed and shipped within weeks. The drive closes September 13, so don't delay! Everyone is invited to share with our brothers and sisters in Ghana.
Consecration Sunday
Join us for Consecration Sunday on Sunday, September 20th! As our church family prepares for this meaningful day, please prayerfully consider your Fresh Air Pledge Card. You may place your completed card in the offering plate any Sunday before September 20th or bring it with you to share in person on Consecration Sunday.
Building a Resilient Life Bible Study
We're launching a five-week Bible study on resilience, meeting Mondays at 7:00 p.m. and Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m. starting September 14. Study materials are $10, though you're welcome to purchase the Kindle version yourself. Come explore Scripture with us and grow stronger in faith. To sign up, please contact the church office. We'd love to have you join us.
Furniture Sale & Workday
Join us on Saturday, September 12 for a furniture workday in our Fellowship Hall! We'll sort and separate items, select the best folding chairs for the children's wing, and prepare pieces for sale. The Furniture Sale runs Saturday and Sunday, September 18–19, with chairs priced at approximately $3 to $5 each. All hands are welcome — we need significant manpower for this effort!
Annual Fall Festival
Join us for our Annual Fall Festival on Saturday, October 3, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.! We're looking for volunteers to help make this joyful day a success. Whether you can assist with setup, activities, refreshments, or cleanup, your help is greatly needed and deeply appreciated. Please contact the church office if you'd like to volunteer. Everyone is invited to attend!
Cub Scout Pack 62 Resumes
Join us as Cub Scout Pack 62 returns to action! Meetings are held on the second and fourth Mondays at 6:00 p.m. in the Children's Building. This program welcomes boys and girls in kindergarten through fifth grade. For more information, visit cubpack62.org. Everyone is invited to get involved!
